Ok guys, here is my checklist of documents we will be bringing to CDJ. Please let me know if we’re missing anything critical here. We plan to have all these in a sturdy accordian style folder with marked tabs so she can get to documents effortlessly when asked for them ...

1. Appointment Letter

a. Banamex application fee receipt

2. Form DS-156

3. Mexican Passport

4. Medical Exam Results

5. Birth Certificate

a. original

b. photocopy

c. notarized translation

6. Intend to Marry (Form CDJ-401)

7. Photos (2)

8. Adequate Means

a. W-2s (3 years)

b. Job offer letters (current & prior employer)

c. 401(k) latest savings statement

9. I-129F Package (exact copy of original)

Any advice (aside from getting my OCD checked by a doctor haha) would be greatly apprecaited!

You'll get more responses if you post in the CDJ thread.

You don't need translations of anything from Spanish to English in Mexico and you are missing the DS-156K - Nonimmigrant Fiance Visa Application.

Also include a small photo album and additional relationship evidence in case they give you a hard time.

The full list is here: http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/wwwhiv...ml#fiancepacket
