Hi all,

My wife and I were married in the US in may of 2006. She is Canadian, born in South Korea and has been in the US since 2001 going to college. We applied in September 2007 for adjustment of status filing the 485 and 130 and all the other requisite documents. We had an interview in Detroit in December 2006. During the interview the interviewer said that he didn't think her Korean birth certificate was correct and that we should submit another one along with further evidence of our relationship at our next scheduled interview.

We got a letter about a week after the interview stating the above and also stating that we would be contacted for another interview.

Three months after that (march 2007) we had not received any notice of a second interview. We went to infopass to inquire, they noted our account and said to check back, I checked back by calling USCIS in May, same answer.

It is now almost a year after I originally applied and 8 months after our first interview.

I am starting to get worried and wondering what the extreme delay could be.

Does anyone have any advice or experience with this or any idea of what I can do to move the process along.

Thanks so much!!!
