Hi Fellow VJers,

We got a surprise in the mail this morning. Our AOS Interview for September 27th, 8:45am! We weren't expecting it to be so fast, honestly I didn't expect to hear anything from immigration for months but oh boy this is exciting.

Quick Question:

Lifting of Conditions. I don't have to worry about that till just before the 2 year greencard expires right?

When you constantly refresh the USCIS website to see if you're getting any closer

When you wake up for to the beginning of the rest of your life with the person you fought so hard for

You need to get your 2-year card first, it's way too early to even think about removing conditions. Good luck with the interview!

And about lifting conditions - my understanding is that you can (should) file to lift them 90 days before your 2 years is up.

Thanks everybody! Glad to hear confirmation about Lifting Conditions, just wanted to make sure I'd read the guide right.

Though I forgot to ask something else too.

Our interview letter didn't state the COST of it. Was the cost included in the application fee or should I be calling them and asking? I can't honestly remember if the fee for the application did include interview costs, I know it included Biometrics. Can anyone shed any light?
