I-134 Notarized and signed, along with financial data proving that you can support.

The consulates tend to treat the I-134 like a mini-I-864 as so prefer the same financial evidence as the I-864.

In our case this what the I-134 included.

  • I-134 signed and notarized.
  • Tax transcripts from the IRS for past 3 years, (Redundant for the (1040,W2,1099) but are free from the IRS
  • Photo copy of IRS form 1040, and W2s for past 3 years
  • Letter from my employer stating annual salary, job responsibility, and that is full time, on company letterhead.
  • Photo copies of past 6 months pay stubs up to a few weeks before the interview.

My income was well above 125% povertyline so I did not include any asset data.

Also copies of emails, phone records, and other evidence of continued communication.

Pssst, Dan! It would save you a lot of typing if you'd add a note that copies of six months of pay stubs was overkill. I think I've seen you type it several times already, usually after somebody panics because they can't possibly do it, or wonders why in the world six months worth would be needed.

It is an obsolete requirement.

I will cut back on the pay-stubs only a few weeks worth are good.

yeah thats what I was thinking. 6 months is an awful lot. I am thinking about sending last 2 months stubs. Also if you have your tax transcripts i don't think the W2s are needed.

I understand you're just accurately listing what you sent but it gets taken as a recommendation by most and as a requirement by a few. Adding a note or two about where you went above and beyond would save us all a lot of time.

The I-134 itself needs to be an original notarized document. Some recent pay stubs that show year to date income will be sufficient.

You call and have them faxed or stop by an IRS office and they'll print them while you wait. If you request them by mail, a week or ten days is normal.
