hello,

when my wife went to VFS office, they did not take her medical package, instead told her to take it with her. I thought, it had to be submitted at VFS. has anything changed.?? will it be okay when my wife takes that medical package directly to consulate.?? hopefully, it wont delay anything..wat do you guys think.? thanks for any tips

if asked at embassy let them know that you where suggested by VFS local office to carry the Medical report sealed packet with you at the time of interview. Write downt he date time when your wife went to VFS to turn in paper work along with recipt they gave you back. Thats something i would do if same thing happen with me.

The medical report is given to the embassy at the time of interview. The VFS doesn't take it.

In our case, my fiancee took her sealed medical package to VFS. They instructed her to open it up in front of them, and inside were 3 sealed packages. VFS took 2 of the sealed packages, and left her with 1, and told her to bring that to the Interview.

Now, we are doing K-1 Visa, and this was the Dehli VFS for the Delhi Embassy. We had our medical done at the Apollo Hospital.

Interesting! It looks like the various VFS offices accept and reject different things. My guy gave his sealed medical report at Hyderabad VFS office and it was accepted. Luckily the doc had given him a copy to keep for himself. Also, they happily accepted proof of relationship like phone bills, email copies and old snail mail copies, which I hear are not accepted at other VFS offices.

Yeah, at our VFS appoinment, they took ALL our Affadavit of Support Papers and ALL our evidence of relationship.
