This is the reply I got today after sending another email to greece with my concerns of why they don't have my file yet.

Dear Ms. ****:

Please keep in mind that I-601 waivers can take up to a month and a half

before

they are received by our office since they are sent through Diplomatic Pouch

and

it takes time.

Sincerely,

Maria A. Marinaki

Ok, exactly how are diplomatic pouches sent?

I'm getting this mental image that the package is sent to the ambassador's office in the US, then when the ambassador comes home for a visit, he is given the whole pile to take back with him.

Or are they putting them on cargo ships and sailing them there, around the tip of South America and up to Russia then down around Australia?

Wait, I know, they are using the Morocccan postal service!

I think they actually take a stroll by the beach with them and then Swim to athens while taking breaks on little Islands and getting some sun. That is why they take so long. The embassy told me they where sent through DHL almost a month and half ago. There is about a 95% chance that it is sitting on there desk in athens and they are 2 lazy to look for it.

What do they care anyway. They are with there Fiances and husbands. They don't have thousands of miles between them.

Well the embassy sent me the tracking # and I checked it on the DHL Website. It says that it was delivered on March 2nd. If my math is correct, they have had my Waiver for a month and 10 days and yet they still don't have it in there system.

Hey Jess - What info did you give them when you checked on the statues of your case.
