hello everyone.how are you all doing?

i sent in my I-129F last tuesday, 14th of August. i used certified mail,so i tracked it down and they just recieved it yesterday:

Delivered LAGUNA NIGUEL CA 92607

08/20/07 10:41am

Arrival at Unit LAGUNA NIGUEL CA 92607

08/20/07 7:06am

im alittle worried if i filled up all the information right. how long does it usually take for them to send me anything or notify me with any info,like NOA1 or something.i guess im just worried.

08-14-2007.I-129F Sent to CSC

08-20-2007.Received at CSC

09-01-07.NOA 1 Received.

is there a thread for august filers?

First and foremost, a big thanks to all you guys here at Visa Journey. We have learned a lot from the forum discussions.

We filed our I-129F for a K-1 Visa on Aug. 6, 2007 via FedEx. It was received by CSC on Aug. 7, 2007. We just got our NOA1 last Aug. 14, 2007 and our check was encashed last Aug. 16, 2007.

your timeline in your signature all says July... August is the 8th month :whistle:

Mid-June filer, Mid-July NOA1 :(...

6/21/07 - I-129F Sent : transferred to CSC at some point...

7/12/07 - Received date as shown on NOA1 Hardcopy

7/18/07 - NOA1

7/21/07 - Check FINALLY Cashed!!!

7/24/07 - Finally got receipt number off the back of cancelled check!

11/23/07 - Our first ever touch!

11/27/07 - Touched on website

11/28/07 - NOA2!!!!!!!!

I-129f was approved in 160 days from your filing date.

12/21/07 - Received at NVC and assigned case number!

12/27/07 - Case forwarded to USEM

01/04/07 - Case received by USEM

02/25/08 - Scheduled St. Luke's Medical Appointment 7:00 AM

03/03/08 - Interview at USEM APPROVED

If you failed to fill in anything correctly, you will be notified via an RFE......most of the time. Length of time until notified can vary depending on when the error is spotted.

22 Jun 05 - We met in a tiny bar in Williamsburg, Va. (spent all summer together)

27 May 06 - Sasha comes back for a 2nd glorious summer (spent 8 months apart)

01 Jan 07 - Jason travels to Moscow for 2 weeks with Sasha

27 May 07 - Jason again travels to Moscow for 2 weeks of perfection

14 July 07 - I-129F and all related documents sent to VSC

16 July 07 - I-129F delivered to VSC and signed for by P. Novak

20 July 07 - NOA1 issued / receipt number assigned

27 Sep 07 - Jason travels to Moscow to be with Sasha for 2 weeks

28 Nov 07 - NOA2 issued...TOUCHED!...then...APPROVED!!!

01 Dec 07 - NVC receives/assigns case #

04 Dec 07 - NVC sends case to U.S. Embassy Moscow

26 Dec 07 - Jason visits Sasha in Russia for the 4th and final time of 2007 :)

22 Feb 08 - Moscow Interview! (APPROVED!!!)..Yay!

24 Mar 08 - Sasha and Jason reunite in the U.S. :)

31 May 08 - Married

29 Dec 08- Alexander is born

11 Jan 10 - AOS / AP / EAD package sent

19 Jan 10 - AOS NOA1 / AP NOA1 / EAD NOA1

08 Feb 10 - AOS case transferred to CSC

16 Mar 10 - AP received

16 Mar 10 - AOS approved

19 Mar 10 - EAD received

22 Mar 10 - GC received

Hi! I express mailed our I-129f on August 30 to the Vermont Service Center, and they received it on August 31. My check was cashed September 7.

don't worry... you'll get your NOA1 soon. I sent my I-129F form on July 28th but didn't get my NOA1 on snail mail August 21. :star:

Hello Everyone. Finally go reunited with my fiance and now husband. We are soo happy.... After 2 years since we filed 7/28/07 we received our visa on August 4, 2009... don't give up. if you know USEM is wrong fight for it... We did...

Wow that was fast.... I guess Vermont Service Center moves fast unlike California Service Center...

Hello Everyone. Finally go reunited with my fiance and now husband. We are soo happy.... After 2 years since we filed 7/28/07 we received our visa on August 4, 2009... don't give up. if you know USEM is wrong fight for it... We did...

Cool! I had exactly the same dates, mailed 8/30 and got there 8/31. I had looked yesterday and the check hadn't cleared -- but I looked today after reading your message and sure enough, mine went through late yesterday too! Here's to getting those NOA1's soon...

I can't, however, pull up the full check image online through my bank. I remember USCIS mentioned something about using an electronic image of my check to get their money -- perhaps this has to do with it? Bummer if that's the case... I want my case number so I can sign up for updates!

Some people say I'm easily distracted, but that's not... Hey! A squirrel!
