Thanks for the kind note Doodle. :luv: She is in a back brace and collar, but hopefully with a little physical therapy she'll be good as new. I'm going to see her when I finish work and see how she is coming along. Hopefully they will let her go home tomorrow as planned.

I am thankful for....

--Ramy, even though I already said that.

--avoiding an accident on the highway while driving home.

--microwavable popcorn, because it's too hot to cook.

Aren't you also thankful that us women are so easy to please when it comes to mealtime??? I know i'm always happy with anything, a sandwich, popcorn, tv dinner. BUT when they get here, its cook cook cook cook! I have been spending so much time cooking since he got here!

Enjoy those days while they last! LOL I can't even imagine my hunny's face if I said we are having popcorn for dinner.

I am thankful and grateful for Malarie, who is one of the most generous people I know!:dance::dance:

Can you two just tell us what it is already!!!! :crying:

I know what you mean. My kids are with their dad until Monday so last night I microwaved some leftover porterhouse steak and rice pilaf. I went to talk to my husband and at the end he said ok I'm going to go and let you eat now and I was like, I already ate. He said, "you ate in 10 minutes? " lol. I'm like, yeah I nuked some steak and rice and there was only a little so I'm done. Those days are gone when you get married AND when you have kids!!!

Thanks, Doodle. (F):luv:

Since last year I've quit like 5 or 6 times. This time was a pretty good one...3 mos. smoke free with a smoker living in the house. It's just when I have a tough time I reach for the smokes. :(

It's been a woe is me week. I think I'm pretty close to driving Moh nuts. He practically begged me to stay home today so I could get over whatever is bothering me. Funny thing is I can't exactly pin point what's bothering me. I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday!

I'm thankful for big cappucinos and cigarettes (smoking AGAIN :( ) to wake me up and give me a push to start my day when I don't want to.

I'm thankful for my patient husband and my rowdy boys.

I'm having a ####### week so I'm really digging for things to be thankful for at this moment. I HATE my job. I'm so wanting to be a kid again without any worries or responsibilities.

awwww (((Hugs)))

If it's any consolation I think I quit smoking about 12 or 13 times before it really *took*. Just think of this as a bump on the road to progress. (F)

I have had a woe-is-me week too. Was so depressed Monday that I could hardly function. It is a little better today since I got some ice cream and M&M's.

I have quit smoking so many times. Each time for a year or so and then something really earth shattering happens and it is either smoke, or hurt someone..... I quit again about a week ago so we'll see how it goes....

eta... i'm thankful that you all are here who I can talk about things and u'll understand without saying..u shouldn't have married someone from Middle East, see what you get!!!

Oh I KNOW it's coming soon too. I swear Ramy is going to clean out our fridge & cupboards in a day! Right now my mom and I are just like..."what's this in the fridge? Is it green? Is it fuzzy? If not, I'll nuke it!" We never use the oven, just the stovetop, and the last time we opened our oven we found spiderwebs!!! My mom hates cooking, but I like it. I get really carried away with experimenting but so far I haven't blown up the house and 90% of the time it tastes good sooooo...

Ramy & I had fun cooking together in Egypt. More like...him burning it...and me finding ways to make it taste good, even though it was black.

But then again, he was trying to fry hamburgers on the stove. When he gets here, there's a gas grill waiting for him :D

Divorced. To hell with him.

It's been one of those weeks. I'm exhaused, the kids asked to eat Lucky Charms for dinner so I said suuuuure why not. I thought that today was going to be the day to turn this whole week around. It started off good enough. A doctor that I don't even work for handed me a post-it note this morning that said, "I am increasing your salary by an x amount of dollars" ..... Well alrighty then!

Then the NVC had to go and burst my bubble! Now I'm upset again, I've thought about turning my ringers off so that I don't have to break the news to my husband that we have to wait another month for an interview date. I don't have the heart to tell him. :(

I am thankful that my sister was wearing her helmet when she had a bike accident yesterday. The helmet is in 3 pieces but her head in just in one, like it should be!!:dance: She has a torn ligament in her neck and a fracture in her spine, but she will be back to normal (and trying to do something else wild) in no time. praise God. (i.e. no permanent damange)

oh maggie wow! thankfully she was wearing that helmet. best wishes for a speedy recovery by her (F)

Surprisingly Moh is just as easy to please as I am. There are nights when we have PB&J or eggs for dinner. Last night we decided to have a little cooking contest. We both cooked chicken but different ways. By the time he was done with his chicken we had all the windows open and the ceiling fan going. You should have seen the smoke in our apt.!
