I happen to know alot of educated normal people who actually supported her last campaign and voted for her even though they didnt support all her ideals but at that time they felt some of her ideas were better than any alternatives offered by the main political parties. Scary and sad but true.

That's generally how fringe politicians with extreme views get support. We had a similar thing happen in the UK. The BNP has made big gains in recent years, something that has worried a lot of people. Unfortunately it isn't really unpredictable - considering that there's no real political opposition in the UK these days. The Conservative party still hasn't recovered from all the infighting - effectively giving Blair et al a free ride for 10 years while they squabbled among themselves. That and the current leader - David Cameron is, for lack of a better word, ridiculous.

Hard to believe there are still people out there like that, let alone people who get political support for their whacked out views.

i'm waiting for one specific individual to find this thread - a friend of yours

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.
