A quick copy and paste of the e-mail response I received - only took 2 days for response

We have no record of having received the forms to which you refer(k3 - Packet 3). However there is a delay of 6 - 8 weeks between the date the forms are received by the Embassy and the date in which they are processed and entered on to our system. As soon as the Immigrant Visa Unit has received the forms and completed any additional processing on your application you can anticipate receiving an appointment date for an interview within 8 weeks.

Your medical examination results have been received in the Immigrant Visa Unit.

Thank you for your e-mail correspondence.

That's a bog standard response, don't panic.

I got that and then a day later got another telling me of my interview date. Try emailing them the same email every few days. I think if they keep seeing your name in their mailbox they think ffs let's just give them an interview date to get rid of them!

Good luck

Helen

Form email, everyone gets it. Although, the dates aren't entirely inaccurate. However, they will keep sending you the email saying 6 weeks for however it long it takes them to process your Packet 3, so don't think if you email them again in two weeks and get the same response that means another 6-8 weeks added on, they just automatically send this response out until they have processed your packet 3.
