Hi,

I arrived in the US on May 4th and married my fiance on the 14th of July, however while waiting for our marriage certificate to arrive my visa expired (which I am not too worried about as I have been told by a lot of people that it's normal and won't pose a problem) but however I am now having a few delays with sending off my Adjustment Of Status paperwork.

When I took my paperwork to get my K1 visa in Sydney they took my vaccination results and affidavit of support and put them in the envelope which I had to give to customs at my point of entry, and now I need to send them in with the adjustment of status forms. Has anyone else been through this and if so what did you do?

I know now I should have made copies of them but I had been told previously on the phone that they would not be taken.....

Thanks heaps,

Adam

The affidavit of support used for the K-Visa (I-134) is not the same as used for AOS, you will be filing the I-864, so you can forget about the I-134.

Did you ge a copy of your Vaccination records? AOS from K-1 requires you to get them transfered to a supplement by a US Civil Surgeon.

No unfortunately I didn't get a copy of them *slaps self in head* as I was told that they would not be taking them and it was only recently that I discovered that I didn't have them and that they were sent with the POE information.

Thanks heaps for the information regarding the Affidavit of support, one less thing to stress about :D

You only need the vaccination supplement I-693A if you came with the K1 visa. I only see in this forum the copy of the medical exam that we have in our home country, but there is not in the instructions to file the I-485. (I already have my interview since I am with an special programm DORA, but I did not have any problem at all, I did not have a copy either of that exam but I was not worried since the instructions says only the supplement).
