I know this is silly, but I'm just completely nervous over the whole interview. I've read tons of the reviews from the embassy and I've had plenty of people tell us everything will be fine, but damn, I can't shake the nervousness. GAH!

Anyone else suffer from nervous-itis?

My problem was pessimism, I had the idea that someone was to stop my dream to be with my fiance even though people keep telling me that it will be fine. You know what, i was not pessimist or nervous at all during the interview. Feel free to feel, this is the way you are going to tell your story to ur kids. Good luck.

I wasn't just nervous, I was terrified!!:lol: It did not make any difference anyone telling me the interview would be fine, I was awful until it was over. Similarly, I am now starting to get nervous (not yet terrified!!) about arriving in the US. So much to do, so little time and then the POE stuff.

I so completely know how you feel.....

Good Luck

I was stressed out of my mind, even though I had my fiance with me there! Until it was over, I was horrible to be with (poor Bee). So I totally understand where you're coming from. :D

Good luck on your interview - you'll do great!

Nini - Vancouver BC, Canada (she's the one who does the forum thing)

Bee - Devon PA, USA (he's the one who gave her the shiny ring)

Getting our sanity tested by bureaucracy since 2007.

Here we go again...

Breathe...I cannot tell you what your exprience will be, as I had my interview in London and you will presumably have yours elsewhere. For me the interview was very a nervous time. I had some things which could have caused problem, but I answered the questions as directly and efficiently as I could.

The interviewer was not friendly and niether was she aggressive, but all in all I would definitly say she was not friendly.

I guess you are nervous because this so important to you, and in that thought you should get some comfort - you are not alone.

My problems started after my part of the interview, with my wife being out of the country for three years her tax was out of date. So look at it this way - it's the final part to the puzzle.

I hope this helps, just remember to breathe.

All the best of luck in the world

Sam

Thanks guys,

Good luck to all of you! My only comfort is in knowing that I can at least share the experience with everyone here who knows EXACTLY what I'm talking about.

You know, it's kind of funny because I know our case is legit and simple (I mean, we have no children and have never been married, nor do we have criminal backgrounds.)...I also know that I packed so much evidence into the damn petition that there cnnot possibly be and request for more!...At least we never got one at the service center. Hehehehe. I guess it's just so nerve racking because it's the most imporant thing to ever happen in my life...Honestly, I don't know what else could be more important to me right now.

I just want to say thanks to everyone for all the help with my questions and all the support you give us. You guys are great!:D
