So to keep it short, I filed a k-3 for my "wife" and she recieved the visa back in March, by the way she is from Pakistan. So she arrives in March of this year, spends some time, I sent her back to visit her parents for a month as she seemed to miss them. When she came back, her ideals on the marriage and such has to changed to this extent that I need to find a way to seperate from her I believe she is just using me for the citizenship.

My problem, at this point what can I do? I have not filed for her green card and will not file for it. Unless a miracle happens(not likely) this will end in a divorce. I do not want her to be around me nor my family anymore.

First of all, she would be the one to adjust status, not you. She would file the petition and you would provide the Aff. of Support....dont do it.

If you dont want to be married, see a lawyer and get a divorce. You dont need her prmission.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

I'm not sure what you're asking. Your wife's K-3 visa is a multiple entry visa valid for 2 years, so she is free to come and go from the US with or without you, for this period of time. As far as immigration is concerned, should your marital situation change, and the K-3 visa holder cannot adjust status based on the marriage USCIS needs to be notified in writing of this. If you do not want her to be around you or your family, then ask her to leave....if she cannot afford to do so on her own, you should provide her with the means to either return home or go to a place of her choosing.

Good luck,

-P

Thank you guys, I wish the best for all of you.

If this ends in divorce, then the K-3 will die with it. There is no way she can adjust status or anything like it once the divorce happens, since the petition is based on marital relationship.

You're quite sure about that, eh?

Why not do the grown up thing and meet in the middle. Sounds like your ideals of the way the marriage should be is the issue here. Where are her feelings here. What does she want. Is she homesick. quit sending her back home alone. you two are a couple now. quit letting outsiders make the decisions now. Get some cousneling from a third party who cares about both of you. Do you really want to be a divorced after only afew months.
