Hi, I jsut sent my n400 the saturday before july 30th so i only had to pay 400$. however, i later realized that i sent it to the USCIS office for military applications in Nebraska instead of the regular ones (their PO box number differ only by the last 2 or 3 digits). My dilemma is that what if my application gets denied because I am not really applying as a military person and therefore I will lose my 400$ (and would have to reapply again and pay the new fee of 700$)? What must I do? I already called the USCIS toll free number and was told that I have to wait until I get a receipt from them, and whether or not my application will be forwarded to the right office cannot be guaranteed. My friends advised me to just cancel my check and reapply (and pay 700$ for my new application) instead of ending up having to pay a total of 1100$ later. But I'm hesitant to do this coz there might still be a chance that my application gets forwarded to the right office. ANy advice?
