hello there i'm new around here!!! im looking at other users timelines and after they received the NOA1 they have something touch!! i dont know what that means...... we filed on july 10th, we got the NOA1 on july 17th, i looked up the uscis website and my case was received on july 13th!!!! is being a month and im not sure what to do?? my case still the same..... the touch thing makes me nervous because i dont know what it means.... if you could help me i would really appreciate it!!! thanks

A touch means when your 'last updated' date in the USCIS site changes. That implies that they looked over your papers or are working on it. No need to worry at this stage though. Touches usually appear when you are nearing the approval stage which takes about 90-120 days from NOA1. Just be patient and you'll get it soon.

03.04.2008 Check cashed

03.03.2008 NOA dates for I-485, EAD, AP

03.05.2008 Biometrics Appointment notice date

03.19.2008 Biometrics Appointment

03.22.2008 RFE for missing (2) I-864 pages :(

03.24.2008 RFE mailed back

03.31.2008 RFE received and case processing resumed

04.28.2008 AP approval notice (dated 04.25.08)

04.30.2008 EAD approved

hi,

NOA1 is just a notice which states the CIS has received your I-129F. The official name for NOA1 is I-797 which is mailed to you and has a date on it. You can use that date as your official NOA1 date.

18 April 2007--Received NOA1

13 Aug. 2007--Received NOA2

09 Oct. 2007--Medical in London

08 Nov. 2007--Visa Interview & Approved

14 Nov. 2007--Pete receives K1 visa in the mail

21 Nov. 2007-- Pete arrives in the United States (together at last!!)

27 Dec. 2007--Our 3 year anniversary of being engaged

16 Feb. 2008--We were married!!
