London Medical - Knightsbridge Doctors

PS to my post above: I see since I posted that you said it was anxiety. The doctor could elaborate on the behavior manifested, whatever it was---excessive crying, inability to sleep, excessive sleep, fear of failure, and mention there was never any harmful behaviors exhibited. That will help the Knightsbridge doctor understand the situation from the point of view of a medical professional who actually treated him.

That's what I had already considered making sure the GP covered in their letter. I don't think it will be a problem as apart from the usual overnight stay in hospital after falling off my bike, it's the only box on the medical questionaire that I really need to say yes too even though it now has little significance.

I am pretty certain that there are people on here who have been approved with a much worse scenario of mental health than me and all the best to them, I truly wish them all the happiness in the world.

Why would I fail. There are other people on her who have suffered from stress, anxiety or depression and not had a problem. I'm 42 and only had a short period of acute anxiety in 42 years, so what's the issue???

Yeah, just ignore corvusheart. Plenty of people have been depressed at some point or another in their lives. You'll be fine at the medical. :)

You'll fail. My fiance brought his GP letter and the doctor was very mean about it. We were notified that we have failed the medical.

You stated in another thread that your fiances medical was on 25th April.....

Has your fiancé even had his medical yet?

Funny how they have to wait until Friday for the results, the exact day that it was claimed the medical was in the first place!

Yeah that's what I thought! Just seems like it's some very horrible scaremongering aimed at upsetting people.

Sounds good Nich. Thanks for answering this. Was afraid this question might get missed with the current issues populating the threads in regards to Knightsbridge.

I submitted the readiness form in Mid march (original medical date was March 12th) then she got bronchitis so we postponed it a month to April 16th, so as a precaution, I submitted the readiness form again.

I'll try to hold my antsiness and not bug them until either May 6th, or the date changes on the CEAC website. Whichever comes first. Thanks again

If it helps I had my medical on April 9th and my CEAC update was on April 14th. I assumed this was when they recieved my medical results but they must have also sent the appointment letter the same day as I received it on April 17th. I'm sure you'll hear something very soon!

Oh and my readiness form was also submitted mid March.

My fiancee's case updated date changed today. Medical was 4/16, resubmitted Readiness of Action on 4/23, updated date was 4/24. I didn't think readiness of action form updated the case updated date (though I can confirm emailing the embassy does), so I'm hoping that was the log of the medical results.

Hope that is helpful for someone as well :)

i believe readiness of action does update, because i did mine earlier this month, and it changed the next day - the only such change that at that time would trigger an update.

I had my medical on the 17th April, and i called today and they said my results have been signed off and forwarded to embassy, so you can assume unless your fiancé has heard from them, that his/her have been forwarded too..

good luck with the rest of the journey!

Hi everyone

I have my vaccination print out that my GP gave me, it has my name and date of birth on it, but does not have the practice name or any certified stamp.

Are they fussy with the how the records look at Knightsbridge?

Thanks
