tomorrow my fiance will have his medical! We will petition for his interview next Wednesday, one week from time medical was done. I suspect he will be interviewed last week in February or first week in March

Just so you have somewhat of a timeframe of where London is at right now, we submitted our readiness form on January 5th and our interview was scheduled for February 17th.

thanks so much for this update! I will pay attention to the CEAC site then and should it change this week I will have him fill out the readiness form this weekend. I suspected it would be interviewed sometime late February or first week in March anyhow. best wishes to the both of us!

Medical is done! It took 1 hour to do, had to power walk back to the station otherwise I would have missed my train, but it all went smoothly. No problems, my vaccination records were all in check, I got everything back that I should have. I was a bit apprehensive about the "genital check" after reading about women having to spread their legs, but she literally just lifted my knickers up (when I was laying down) and looked for 1 second and that was it!

Now I wait for the interview letter!

It was quite funny, some kid was having some vaccinations done and he was screaming his head off for about 15 minutes. "NO, I DON'T WANT IT, NO NO NO" and general screaching.

Oh, and I recall someone not having one of the boxes ticked on the vaccination form to say it's complete, I was told that this was done "when you get your green card". She read my mind since I was going to ask them about it.

It takes four working days to get to the embassy, assuming the results are all fine. Then someone actually has to open the results and update your file. Could be a week before CEAC changes. I wouldn't worry too much.

If the medical was today, you should wait to see a CEAC status change in about 4 business days. Our status changed three times in a week: once for when they received the medical, once when they received the DS-160/readiness form and once when the interview letter was printed and sent out (and our interview letter/packet 4 was received exactly 10 days from the medical).

When you say it changed, do you mean the date it was last updated changed? Or is there more status reports other than "Ready" that I'm not seeing?

Our status never changed when he submitted the DS160. I can always call the embassy to ensure it was received . I called there one time because I had a question and the gentleman was very nice and informative .
