I found it strange they couldn't give me some of the results of the medical on the day or tell me how I did. Scars were the only issue, but the doctor mentioned that "physical went okay", but the questions regarding scars were peculiar and she even tried to catch me out to see if I'm a liar. They are just childhood scars lol. All understandable in her position, but a little uneasy to start with. All went well and it wasn't bad at all. Everybody was quick and friendly. I just hated the rain and getting lost.

Is it possible the doctor was considering the scars were from self-harm incidents, thereby questioning your mental health?

Yes, I believe so. She asked quite peculiar questions related to the reasons. Not to mention the places she checked. I would be 99% sure it was the reason.

The doctor is required to examine the genitals and check off a box saying that he did. Most of the time they take a quick peek just so they can check the box without lying, although in countries with abnormally high STD rates he might be more thorough.

We can only speculate on why the doctor must do this. But it seems the biggest reason is to check for STDs, as urinalyisis misses a lot of active STD infections. In additon, I heard some rumors that fradulent representation as to your gender is common on the I129(f), and this is an easy way to bust impostors.

I know they're required to peek at the genitals, but from what I'd read before going, they lift your knickers up and take a quick look. The doctor I saw had me get completely naked from the waist down and open my legs all the way, which I definitely was not expecting :P

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered

November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

Oh god I am now dreading my medical lol!

Us K1's don't get an appointment letter until after the medical, just a heads up so that nobody panics, thus just applies to the spousal visa :P

Try not to worry, it's over before you know it. It seems like the doctors do it differently as the doctor I had just asked for me to quickly pull my trouses/underwear down and back up again, it was a matter of seconds. :)
