today I feel so down and shouldn't I know, but ;)

Following the RFE what they wanted was so simple and was sent to them the next day, so I know it is going to be a while before we hear anything but it is the waiting!!!! Just thinking that surely our approval cannot be so far away is draining me. I wouldn't mind but we then still have a ways to go but it is just waiting for that "this case has been approved" message as you alll know. I have got to stop checking CSC site for our status!!!!

And on top of that I have found something is wrong in my nose!!!!! and I am snoring every night :o which means hubby cannot get a good nights sleep and has to go in the spare room. God love him he still starts off in our bed but then in the middle of the night I hear him mumbling to himself about "getting no sleep" and I fell terrible. Something happens in the night and my nose gets completed blocked and I can only breath through one nostril so I apparently sleep with my mouth open, (bet that's a sight  ).

And we have had to find another estate agent to sell the house as the one we had was not doing a very good job of marketing it ;) One of my Rottweillers has decided to act like a juvenile delinquent and is driving me daft, I keep on threatening him that he is not moving with us, but he takes no notice

I am definitely not busy enough in my job but it is not worth trying for another one, (praying we get our Visa)

So all in all minor things but they are adding up and I am basically FED UP TODAY, anyone got any good jokes or something to cheer me up, PLEASE

Ok as to the snoring thing have you tried those little breathing strips that you stick on your nose at night to open up your airways. I hear they're quite good and you can pick them up at most chemists. they might be worth a try to help that.

Lol and I know about bad dogs. My parents have gone off to Spain for a week and our dog is a complete pain whenever my dad goes away. She pines for him and keeps wanting me to let her outside every five minutes so she can sit by the gate for 10 minutes then want to come in. Lol if it wasn't so cold I'd just leave the damn door open.

And I'm sorry about your RFE. I didn't have one of those but it still took us 10 months with "no problems" so I know very well the waiting game. I would just look on the bright side now you're on this site you have every piece of information you can ever need so your next stages you'll fly through because you'll have everything organised well in advance.

Right a joke to cheer you up.

A man went to a zoo but there was only one dog there.

It was a Shitzu.

You'll be fine. You sound like a tough cookie.

 Dawn I LOVE that lap dancer, thanks for that

Claire, tried those strips a long time ago and did not do anything for me, and you are right in a way, I can be a tough cookie, but not all the time :(

And where did you get that joke :lol:

Becca thanks for that, I know you have been "through" it just lately, so thanks for giving me a smile

As the day is going on, I am feeling better about things and will be untill I get home tonight and then I will be checking my emails to see if "it " has arrived!! and trying to deal with my delinquent dog, unless Alan has managed to take him for a walk. If he goes with Alan, he gets worn out and then we get some peace at night

Just wanted to give ya a big HUG (F)

I can understand about the snoring, my husband snores bad. I sometimes end up moving to the bottom of the bed just to get away from the snoring. Sometimes I put the fan on beside me so I cant hear him.

Hope you have a good day. :D

Ha, just received a joke from a friend... a little something more to cheer you up, munchkins:

***

A guy is driving around Tennessee and he sees a sign in front of a house: "Talking Dog for Sale."

He rings the bell and the owner tells him the dog is in the backyard. The guy goes into the backyard and sees a Labrador retriever sitting there.

"You talk?" he asks.

"Yep," the Lab replies. "So, what's your story?" The Lab looks up and says, "Well, I discovered that I could talk when I was pretty young. I wanted to help the government, so I told the CIA about my gift, and in no time at all they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders, because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping. I was one of their most valuable spies for eight years running." "But the jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn't getting any younger so I decided to settle down. I signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security wandering near suspicious characters and listening in.". "I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded a batch of medals. I got married, had a mess of puppies, and now I'm just retired".

The guy is amazed. He goes back in and asks the owner what he wants for the dog. "Ten dollars," the guy says. "Ten dollars? This dog is amazing. Why on earth are you selling him so cheap?" "Because he's a liar. He never did any of that sh!t."

Someone Really Stinks

A young couple were on their honeymoon. The husband was sitting in the bathroom on the edge of the bathtub saying to himself, "Now how can I tell my wife that I've got really smelly feet and that my socks absolutely stink? I've managed to keep it from her while we were dating, but she's bound to find out sooner or later that my feet stink. Now how do I tell her?"

Meanwhile, the wife was sitting in the bed saying to herself, "Now how do I tell my husband that I've got really bad breath? I've been very lucky to keep it from him while we were courting, but as soon as he's lived with me for a week, he's bound to find out. Now how do I tell him gently?"

The husband finally plucks up enough courage to tell his wife and so he walks into the bedroom. He walks over to the bed, climbs over to his wife, puts his arm around her neck, moves his face very close to hers and says, "Darling, I've a confession to make."

And she says, "So have I, love."

To which he replies, "Don't tell me, you've eaten my socks."

Tho' lovers be lost, love shall not... and death shall have NO dominion!

cheer up :) I don't have any jokes but I know I had an RFE when I was going thru the process.

It only slowed me down bye a few extra days.

I dont have any dogs but I had fish,,I HAD fish,,umm they died.

but I know what it feels like to have an ambitious 5 yr old does that count? plus I am feeling like a big huge airballoon these days, believe me gaining weight at this rate being pregnet and hormonal I got alot of really down days like your having but what helps me is ,,the someday soon thoughts,,it will get better!

I greet the morning sickness like a braveheart now,my husband stands behind me giving me the run down of the day.. numbers to call bills he is worried about and he is so used to it now that it's just a routine.

then at the end of his speech he usually sais if u got it what I said give me a sighn! I moan once and nod my head,,great he smiles and kisses the back of my head and leaves for work.

once I get over that part of the day I am a happy weeble wobble ,,see? there is always some kind of humor in life, try to stay positive ,it's such a lonely draining process on visas but you'll make your way out.

be good to yourself and smile thru the pain.

Duck Hunting

A lawyer went duck hunting in rural South Dakota. He shot and dropped a

bird, but it fell into a farmer's field on the other side of a fence. As the lawyer

climbed over the fence, an elderly farmer drove up on his tractor and asked him what

he was doing.

The lawyer responded, "I shot a duck and it fell in this field, and now I'm going to retrieve it."

The old farmer replied, "This is my property, and you are not coming over here."

The indignant lawyer said, "I'm one of the best trial attorneys in California and, if you

don't let me get that duck, I'll sue you and take everything you own."

The old farmer smiled and said, "Apparently, you don't know how we settle disputes in

South Dakota.

We settle small disagreements like this with the South Dakota Three Kick Rule."

The lawyer asked, "What's that?"

The farmer replied, "Well, because the dispute occurs on my land, first I kick you three times

and then you kick me three times and so on back and forth until someone gives up."

The attorney quickly thought about the proposed contest and decided that he could easily take the old codger. He agreed to abide by the local custom.

The old farmer slowly climbed down from the tractor and walked up to the attorney.

His first kick planted the toe of his heavy steel-toed work boot into the lawyer's groin and

dropped him to his knees. His second kick to the midriff sent the lawyer's last meal gushing

from his mouth. The barrister was on all fours when the farmer's third kick to his rear end

sent him face-first into a fresh cow pie.

The lawyer summoned every bit of his will and managed to get to his feet.

Wiping his face with the arm of his jacket, he said, "Okay, you old coot. Now it's my turn."

[i love this part.....]

The old farmer smiled and said, "Naw, I give up. You can have the duck."

Tho' lovers be lost, love shall not... and death shall have NO dominion!
