Do I need a visa or something...

I am planning on traveling to my Wife's home country of Peru this Christmas. I would like to remotely continue to work using a laptop and logging into my company here in the states. My question is, do I need a special work visa of some sort and if so what kind of costs should I expect to pay? Does my employer incur any fees as well from my working within a different country? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

No just the normal visitor's visa or visa waiver program is fine.

You are still working for your company as if you were in the USA, only remotely. You are not working for a company domestically in the foreign country.
