Ok i am the brit living in the US, our son is now five months old and we are looking at visiting england for christmas. do i apply for a US or british passport and where do i apply? Also what do i have to do to make sure our son is a dual citizen? thanks so much!

If born in USA you need a US passport for your son. Register your son's birth with the British government.

You didn't mention where your Son was born? I'm assuming U.S. - therefore you can just get him a U.S. passport.

As for his dual British citizenship, if you have further questions on that, I would recommend you post in the Regional Discussion area (scroll to near the bottom of the VJ forums listing), and click on 'United Kingdom', I'm sure many have experience with this.
