yes, some do receive AOS approval without an interview.

We were not required to interview for Andre to AOS. It was surprisingly easy. Just some paperwork and biometrics.

A sign of approval without interview is the case gets sent from MSC to CSC for further processing, if MSC sent it to your local office, you will interview.

CSC can also decide that an interview is needed, and send it back to MSC for transfer to local office, one member on CFL had this happen.

So MSC sending to CSC is no guarantee that it will be approved without interview.

Absolutely!! We were approved without an Interview for AOS in 57 days and she has her Green card.

It seems like there's around a 50% chance that a case will be transferred to CSC and approved without an interview. If you look at the May and June filers threads it seems like half were transferred, half were interviewed. So yes, it's possible... but there's nothing that you can do to control it, there's no guarantee of a transfer.
