:secret: from yesterday....

When asked whether Clinton can beat the GOP nominee, 72 percent of registered Democrats said yes, while 25 percent said no.

Many Republicans are convinced Clinton would be vulnerable in a general election, with too much political baggage to be electable. Her unfavorable rating in polls has hovered around 44 percent throughout the year, an uncomfortably high number for any candidate.

However, the average of five recent polls pitting Clinton against the current Republican front-runner, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, showed Clinton slightly ahead, at 46% to 44%.

She is opposed to the Constitutional amendment banning same sex unions. Bottom line, this si what counts. What's wrong with giving states the right?

Tell me Gary, which Republican supports same sex unions?

I think you missed my position. Civil unions for gays is something I support. Marriage is not something I support. And states should have the right to choose if they allow civil unions.

Ah, well then you and Hillary are in step with each other on that issue.

Keep on thinking that. We will see next year. Oh, and by the way,46% to 44% is within the margin of error. I thought with all the rep bashing in the last 6 years Hillary should have a lock on it. Hmmmmm......

I have never been in lockstep with anyone. I have always made up my own mind. It's just some here assume that I am a rep robot. That is their problem and not mine.

Hey, we're playing the "dictionary definition game", I can play that too:

marriage |ˈmarij|

noun

1 the formal union of a man and a woman, typically recognized by law, by which they become husband and wife.

• a similar long-term relationship between partners of the same sex.

• a relationship between married people or the period for which it lasts : a happy marriage | the children from his first marriage.

• figurative a combination or mixture of two or more elements : a marriage of jazz, pop, blues, and gospel.

2 (in pinochle and other card games) a combination of a king and queen of the same suit.

I guess gay marriage is OK then!

Here's what I don't get, Gary. You agree with Hillary's position on this issue, but instead of saying, "Right on, Hillary! I agree!" you post a thread to somehow make her look bad for having this position. Pssst...I let you in on secret...Hillary isn't the Far Left ideologue that you want to believe she is. Just like Giuliani is a far cry from being Conservative...as GW Bush. How do you like them apples? ;)

As a matter of fact I do agree with her on this one. <shock!!!!> But that is a far cry from endorsing her for anything. I posted it because I like to jab at Hillary when I see her base turn on her. I have some Iraq war stories that I will be posting later for some of you to enjoy.

Ah election time, I do enjoy it. I wanted to get an early start is all.

Methinks you have a secret crush on Hillary and you'll be squealling like an excited school girl when she gets elected. :P ...either that or you're scared that she's a shoe-in for the presidency.
