Hey Everyone,

I just found out that NVC has assigned case # to my petition.

Do i have to wait for NVC to generate DS3032 to send out an email to NVC about choice of agent or i can just do it after receiving the Case #?

I am planning on using James Shortcut for the process.

Thank you.

Jay

I suggest to wait for 2 weeks after your case has been assigned. It will tell you on the automated message that something will be sent to the beneficiary to that effect, then you can go ahead and then send your DS3032 info. I sent mine via USPS, and not email. I got better response than emailing the Choice of Agent and Address information.

Good luck!

On the Automated message it says to wait 6 - 8 weeks for the beneficiary to receive the notification.

Does that mean that they have generated the DS-3032 for Choice of Agent? Or the Automated Message will say that it has generated DS-3032?

No, the automated message will actually say that it was generated. ALWAYS wait for the messages or the live person to tell you that X form was generated or it will take forever for them to process it.

What you can do is follow James' shortcuts to generate it yourself, save it and e-mail it to your husband for him to sign.

If the scanner does a good job and doesn't blur out any info, then I don't see a problem with scanning it.
