Turned away from border before green card status

Hello everyone, I am freaking out a little bit. I disclosed on my i485 that I was turned away from the USA border due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I did not disclose this on my i751 and I was wondering if I had to disclose it on my n-400 application. I received my green card in 2021.

it has not

Do you plan to apply for the N-400 while the I-751 is pending? If so then this is correctable at the interview (assuming you request and get a combo interview) but I would definitely disclose it on the N-400.

I am planning on applying while its pending so I definitely will disclose this

Ok good. For the N-400 application, include a cover letter indicating you have a pending I-751, specify the receipt number and request a combo interview

Would I be able to do this for an online application?

I believe so or you can at least upload a letter on the portal after you submit the application. I'll tag @OldUser who just recently applied for the N-400

I wonder if I would be subject to more scrutiny because of this

I don't see it as a major concern.  They will be more interested in the lengths of trips outside the US.

Oh awesome! We have been so busy with our toddlers that we haven't had the chance to even leave the US
