We just realized that on our port of entry immigration officer took all medical envelopes ( sealed and opened) now we don’t have any paperwork for us to take to civil doctor appointment to get our medical examination done . How do

we prove to civil doctor that we have done required vaccinations overseas?

Explain why you need another medical but FIRST read through the I693 instructions explaining the K1 medical exemption.

I also strongly recommend joining your monthly K1 AOS Filing forum to learn the basics about your process from your filing peers.

How do we get DS-3025?

it should have been provided to you by the doctor who did your medical abroad

if you don't have it you can try contacting them to get a copy from them

We called them yesterday and asked for a copy of DS-3025 but they were clueless . We also  tried to explain that it is summary of vaccination done at your clinic.  They’ve requested to send them an email explaining what we need and they would try to respond . now we are waiting on their reply . What else we can do ?

i mean the DS-3025 is just additional proof that you got the medical exam abroad.

but the envelope you gave at your POE (that has your medical in it) would have been attached to your A number and USCIS would have access to it.

you can include an additional cover letter with your petition explaining that you got a medical abroad and as a K1 visa holder you don't need to get another medical in the states.

that should clue in the officer to look for your medical in your A file. the DS-3025 is something you would include with the cover letter.

Does that mean I-693 is optional and we don’t need to send it with our packet ?

it is not required for K1 visa holders, so no you don't need to get the I-693 completed if you are filing your AOS within a year of your medical abroad

however that doesn't mean USCIS can't send you an RFE for it. it is not uncommon for that to happen. at that point you would have to pay for and get a new medical in the states.

any kind of human error could cause your medical not to make it from your POE to USCIS

Just to be clear if we don’t need to get I693 completed then we don’t need civil doctor appointment?

The only thing I want to add is that you don't need it IF the box on the DS-3025 was marked that says you completed the vaccinations.. Without seeing the DS-3025, it's hard to say if they did that or not. But if you gotten all vaccinations etc, there's no reason for them not to have marked that.
