Me and My wife have been married for 4 years . She is 12 years older but we love each other so much . The interview is coming and I want to know if this age gap is a red flag ? and if the evidence we have is enough ?

I live in egypt . We have many selfie pics in different place , chat logs , voice and video calls , just 1 picture of friends gathering ( we are introverts ) , she sent me money 3 times , she visited me 3 times ,4 non notarized affidavits , messages between me and her mom and also with her niece , texts from my friends to her .

Are those considered enough evidence or no ?

My parents dont know due to the cultrual difference but I am planning to tell them .

12 years is not that much / usually anything over 10 years with USC wife older but married 4 years now is the big plus with this age difference

what will be important is how much quality time you have spent together (actual time ) ,

friends affadvits are of little interest to a CO

Proof from photos with Egyptian family , especially the mother ,  are more important to show she and therby the family approve so the family not knowing is your biggest issue

any proof of visits from USC like copy of boarding passes to show the times there?

chats, texts not much use useless CO asks for them to show the timeframes you have talked

USC sending money to bene is also a red flag especially in a culture where the husband is suppose to support the wife

When were you together in the same place?   Your US spouse needs to join us here for this conversation.

Your parents not knowing about your older American wife of 4 years is a big red flag.

all her family , friends and work mates know

all my friends know but not the family ( the cultural difference )

she sometimes supported me financially for somethings due to the huge inflation in egypt

not doomed but up to u to convince the CO that your feelings for the USC are sincere and you plan a life in the US with her

be completely honest when in interview/   answer questions put to u without elborating and trying to explain things by offering what has not been asked

the CO may ask what are your plans like do u intend to work or  study

a good solid education and /or work experience is a plus

 a little late for that

Does USC know  your family is in the dark?

Is she ok not knowing them (AND WHAT THEY EXPECT FROM YOU)

understand this culture wants children, and expects you to contribute financially to the family

i ,  agree,   USC needs to join this conversation

do u plan to study and pass US tests for license?

and of course education and similar backgrounds in study and education is a big big plus

should have told you family / sooner or later they will find out and best to come from u

family might have tried to discourage a marriage,  might not like it but you know  ,  if you had showed them you were set on this,  they would have wanted to dress in their best and celebrated the union

As a mother i feel for her as you left her out

but i wish the 2 of u my best wishes
