Hey everybody, I wanted to see what everybody thought about the evidence we sent in for our I-751. Here’s what we sent

- lease agreement with both of our names

-6 months worth of bank statements with both our names on the account

- 2023 & 2024 taxes we filed jointly

- my life insurance with my husband listed as the beneficiary

- 20 photos of us together and with both of our families

- I believe we sent the car insurance with both of our names on it but can’t remember

- both of our drivers license showing the same address and my last name change to his since him entering the states

- his green card copy

i believe this is enough evidence for us. Waiting on approval so the countdown begins….

Is this the only lease agreement you had together?

Why only 6 months? I-751 instructions ask for evidence since date of marriage until day of filing.

Hopefully annotated and spanning several months / years?

Yes it’s the only lease for us, pictures are annotated and spanning several years. The bank account I could add more but was advised that 6 months was more than enough

I-751 instructions ask for as much evidence as possible, from start of marriage until now. I submitted 3 years of monthly statements for my I-751. It didn't seem to negatively affect my case as I got approved without interview.

Good luck!

This is not the time to be conservative with evidence.  I would send evidence spanning the entire marriage.  This what we submitted:

Apartment lease with both our names & signatures
Joint bank checking acct statements since wife's arrival in June 2017.
Deed for new home with both our names
Mortgage Lender Letter with both our names.
Credit Cards showing both on joint account with same card number.
Amazon delivery label showing both names and our current address.
Wife's Military Dependent ID card showing me as the sponsor.
Tricare Eligibility Letter showing both of us together.
Military pay statement showing wife as my benefic.
Texas Health Care Directives appointing each other as sole health care proxy(Advanced Directives)
Our Texas driver's licenses with same address for both of us
2018 Joint Tax ReturnTax Returns
Pictures of us on special occasions here in the US.
Car Insurance Cards showing both of us as insured drivers for our car
Boarding Passes for Las Vegas Valentine Day Trip 2019
Utility application showing both our names for our current address

Years later when you actually have your interview for the ROC, don't you need to bring all evidence up to the current date anyways?

We did.  The officer wanted to see evidence of marital union from date we submitted our I-751 to date of interview......44 months later...LOL
