I will need help please !! I am citizen and my mother came to stay with me since 10/2024, I need to start her process for adjustment of status but I am not sure what the process is (different information everywhere) Do i send I-130 and I -485 together ?

Yes you would file the I-130, I-485 and the I-864 all together (Mandatory Forms). Optional forms are the I-765 if you want to get her Employment Authorization ($260 filing fee when filed concurrently with the I-485) and the I-131 if you want to get her Advanced Parole (Ability to travel while the application is pending) ($630 filing fee)

I will check timelines in this site, we will go to San Antonio TX

 

Travel authorization is to be able to travel internationally.... Not sure if you meant you are traveling to San Antonio? Any travel within the US you do not need the Advanced Parole

Be sure to research cost of healthcare for an elderly LPR. This may affect your decision to have her stay in US. 

4/12/13 - sent I-485 package

4/15/13 - USCIS Chicago Lockbox received package

4/22/13 - got email and txt

5/08/13 - received biometrics appointment for 5/22

5/09/13 - successful early walk in at Port Chester, NY office

5/22/13 - I-485 updated to Testing & Interview

6/18/13 - EAD went to production

6/21/13 - Card/Document Production for EAD - second email

6/24/13 - EAD mailed

6/26/13 - EAD arrived

7/18/13 - got email about interview

7/20/13 - got hard copy interview letter

08/23/13 - interview - Approved dancin5hr.gif(card production & decision email)

08/28/13 - card production - second email

08/29/13 - card mailed

09/03/13 - card arrived
