My case was with the NVC for less then a week. I believe that is average for K-1 processing. A lot of petitions that are NVC bound get stuck at USCIS, as they wait for their boxes to fill up before sending a bundle to the NVC.

Also, rumor has it they hired a tortoise to move the mountains of paperwork from USCIS to NVC. I guess that's better then hiring the hare...

It usually takes 7-10 days from date of NOA2.

Hi People,

Like to us how many days case stay in nvc before they send ur case to the embassy. I was thinking how many days my papers stay in nvc. Hope anyone could give me any idea bout it thanks..

Or the hare took half the paperwork and fell asleep midway, thats why some of the paperwork reach NVC faster and some take longer. :P
