I was arrested for driving on a suspended way before I got my GC, charge got dropped to an infraction, this happened in 2015 I got my GC in 2018 through marriage. First wife filed for divorce, and I remarried to another US citizen since then and we have a baby on the way. Turns out I’m scared of traveling and also of doing my citizenship. Please enlighten me on what I’m in for during the administration. I really wanna get my citizenship done and be over with it.

thank you!

Does not seem a biggie and you have 5 years good moral charachter if it was.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

1) How soon after receiving GC did you divorce wife #1?

2) Was there a significant age gap between you and wife #1?

3) Was wife #1 of your ethnicity, same religion or country of origin or not?

4) Is wife #2 of your ethnicity, same religion or country of origin?

5) Did you know wife #2 before you met wife #1?

Marriage wise, fast divorce after receiving GC might be compensated by 5 years of overall marriage length.

I hope you'd be able to provide any supporting docs showing marriage #1 was bonafide?

Otherwise I don't seen anything super major here.

I assume you disclosed this 2015 incident in your I-485 during your adjustment?

I mean 25% of marriages end in divorce within 5 years. That shouldnt even come up in a legal and compliant world since we have removed conditions on the i751 form and provided plenty of evidence then, we didnt even have an interview for the ROC. But, nowadays anything can come up. The incident was disclosed during initial AOS and again during ROC because as you can probably tell, anxiety is a thing here.  Just really wondering if i should just do it myself or hire a lawyer to assist with the process.

OK, just a little confused here as you said you divorced wife 1 relatively soon after getting the GC, but then you mentioned ROC.  Did you mean to say you divorced wife 1 soon after getting your 10yr GC?

As to the traffic incident, I don't see a lot of issues.
