In the online petition for I-130 it talks about having a joint bank account, property, or investments together to show proof of a bona fide marriage, but what i don't understand is that for after they come to the USA. Bcs my bank doesn't allow a bank account without a permanent residence card issued by Homeland Security? Bcs it says that just the marriage certificate alone isn't enough proof of a bona-fide marriage or relationship, so that's why I added about 20 photos of my wife and I together with our kids and some of her family from different times that I've visited her since we got married last March 2024. I would think that the fact that we have a daughter together would also be evidence of a bona-fide relationship and marriage in addition to the marriage certificate.  Pls advise me of anything else I can possibly add.  We have a lot together in the province but it's  not paid off yet til next year. So I didn't include that yet because we don't have the title yet as we're still making payments.

Different financial institutions will have different requirements to open a joint account.  We opened ours while I was a visitor, before I got my visa.

 

You can also add each other as beneficiaries on bank, investment/retirement, and insurance accounts.

 

Don't forget about wills and living wills.  Valuable evidence, and useful to have in general.
