Yeah, biometric waiver was nice. Although we are not getting the biometric fees paid back.

Nobody ever gets any USCIS fees back.

Also, biometric fee is not just for an appointment. There's background check and fees associated with it. Biometrics fee covers it.

So the account that you had was from your spouse, because he/she was the one petitioning for you. Now it's you that are petitioning for yourself l, so you gotta wait until you receive in the mail the letter with the account creation code so you can make your own account.

Give it 2 weeks after they receive it (wich should be today, the 17th).

With that letter you may also get your NOA wich extends the validity of you GC.

Thanks @ArethisPT. I should have clarified: We went through consular processing, so neither my spouse nor myself had an account created with USCIS when we got the original CR1 Visa (everything happened in person at the Embassy/Consulate).

When we moved to the USA using the CR1 Visa, and I got my green card through the mail a couple weeks later, I created a USCIS account for myself using my A-number to try and update my address online (I couldn't do it through the online account, so filed paper forms instead).

But given that no documents were associated with this USCIS account, I couldn't find my USCIS account number anywhere so filed my i-751 without a USCIS account number.

Will I be able to attach my application number to this USCIS number once I receive it? Or will I have to create a new USCIS account?

Just received the text with the Case number!

How do I get the Online Access Code to add the case number to my USCIS account? I saw in the Feb or March 2025 filers that someone asked for a code via chat to a USCIS person?

Updated timeline:
- Apr 15th 2025 - Submitted i-751 packet to Tempe, AZ via Fedex
- Apr 17th 2025 - Packet arrived and signed for at Lockbox
- Apr 21st 2025 - Received text notification that they received form i-751 and sent a receipt notice

Typically you'll receive it in the mail.

Oh now I get it, since you already got a USCIS account, you can add this case to it when you get the NOA with the account creation code, it explains there how to do it.

We’re hoping to get the physical letter in the mail soon but very happy to have the proof of extended legal status so quickly! I suppose it’s just a waiting game now for the approval 🤞

They only gave you a two year extension instead of the 48 month extension?
