Hi everyone!

I’m the complainant/victim in a legal case and I just received a letter today with my court date scheduled for July.

Since there isn’t a court decision yet and I'm the victim, do I need to show documents or provide any proof regarding this case at the embassy during my K1 visa interview next week?

Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much!

Probably not

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Only that your interview date is April 11 and court date is July

If a visa is approved and issued , it will expire 6 months from date of medical exam

that cuts it close

Thank you for your reply! I understand the timing concern. I will be writing a petition to assign a different person to handle my case if possible, as I won’t be able to attend the court hearing in July. Hopefully, this will ensure everything is taken care of while I proceed with my K1 visa process.
