Hello - Both parents are in their 60s and living in Asia. They are planning to visit USA during summer months. The intent is to visit for 3 months and go back.

They visited USA 2 yrs ago and went back within 3 months.

They have onging applications for I-130, applied in Dec 2024.

With the pending I-130, would it be ok to travel to USA on a B1/B2 for parents in 60s??

Anyone had recent experience?

I visited during the process, many do, we have a mega thread on it. Nothing you have mentioned suggests major issues.

I read many visiting USA to meet the respective spouses. However, did not find scenarios for either parent coming visiting USA on visitor visas.
I don’t know if the situation would be considered as similar to spouse visiting as tourist.

Why not? I have seen many India parents visiting but most seem to adjust.

My wife (from India with B1/B2) and my brother's wife (with ESTA) visited the US multiple times each during their consular processing in 2022.

I think a parent would actually be less worrisome to CBP.  Less chance of working illegally since they are older.  More ties to the home country.
