Hello!!

I'm starting a space for April filers since I didn't spot one yet.

I filed on April 1st by mail (entered via fiance visa 2016) and will do my best to update with progress here to help out with info and help us all wait more patiently haha.

Good luck everyone 😊

My application was delivered this morning. It may take a while to hear back since they have to mail the letter. I'm guessing they won't reuse my biometrics because they are rather old by now.

Regarding biometrics, you never know, but it's a fair assumption.

Receipts tend to take 2-8 weeks. May be on a longer side if you asked for fee reduction or fee waiver.

My wife applied on Saturday evening through online application under 5 year rule. Just following along. This forum was a great help during her I-130 process

Good luck with your journey! This one is gonna be hopefully much less complicated! Curious if you got the biometrics reuse right away?

They will be re-using the biometrics. They sent notice the day after we applied. She had it last done probably 3 years ago. She has a IOE receipt number

Hi everyone!

Filed my N-400 online (3-year rule) on Apr 2nd— 2 years and 9 months after getting my GC.

- Case status changed to "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed" immediately after submitting.

- Two notices appeared in my documents tab:

  - Payment received

  - Biometrics reused

Hoping for a smooth process from here! and would love to hear your timelines or tips.

I'm still waiting for a letter in the mail as I expected. I applied through mail because of a fee reduction request.

Let me know if anyone here did it that way as well. 😊
