I was just wondering would i be ok if my income to sponser my spouse is only 2000 dollars more than the required 125 percent guideline. i barely make the cutoff... :huh:

As long as you make the cutoff, you are fine. That is why there is a cutoff - so the Consular official can't say, hmm, I don't think you make enough money.

You either make the cutoff or you do not.

Yep - either you make the cutoff or you don't. If you've been in the job for a while, and can show last year's income and this year's income 2,000 above the required amount (along with the required proof), you'll be fine. Be sure that you're using the right guideline amount - is it just the two of you?

US Immigration Timeline

7 Nov 2007 - Visa and MBE arrived by SMS! :)
