Hello to Everyone!

On May 30, 2007 my I-129F packet was received by USCIS. I was able to obtain the case number from the back of the personal check I had submitted with my paperwork. I have not received a NOA1 in the mail yet. I have registered online with the USCIS website and can electronically see that the current status is "received and pending" , but I have not received any corrispondance by mail and it has been well over 60 days. Is this common? Originally the paper work was sent to the NE center..and I have since learn that it is now at the California Service Center. Has anyone else experienced this? When I've called the service center they keep telling me to check back in 2 weeks.

What is the next list of forms that will be asked for? Can anyone tell me what forms are envolved in both the NOA1 and NOA2 process. Thank you for all of your help! Best wishes to everyone.

There was a problem with mailing out NOA1 for people who filed in May and June. Some people never really got it, however the only thing you really need off there is the receipt number and to make sure they got your names and address right.

NOA2 is the one that really matters.

as you can see in my timeline, we filed the end of april, have had no NOA1 or any touches since. apperently this is normal and an approval can take up to 120 days. so stay patient!
