Yes, I sent these materials separately, myself, directly to Cairo in advance of your interview.
They did not ask for it to be sent.
Still, though they could just return it without the 221g letter, right?

I mean, should I contact them or wait and see in July?

Since we are all sort of guessing here, the fact that you sent this information unsolicited to the consulate prior to the interview may have resulted in the early 221G.  I agree with @jan22, this appears to be the consulate letting you know of the importance of bringing relationship evidence to the interview, and the CO will review it at that time.

Good Luck!

How much in-person time have you had?

More than two years.

Please clarify your "more than two years" response.  Were you living together for two years, living in the same city and seeing each other in person for two years, or did you make multiple trips to be together, in person, for a total of two years?  Based on the evidence you sent (photos, online chats, tickets), it seems more like a virtual relationship with one or more brief visits in person.  If you were in fact together in person for more than two years, you should have stronger evidence such as an apartment lease or other documentation like utility bills together.  For a K-1, in most countries, evidence of at least one in person meeting within the last two years is sufficient, but for Egypt they seem to be wanting more, maybe because of high fraud by others.  Is this an arranged marriage, and what were the circumstances of your meeting?  I agree with others, you should be fine with more evidence at the interview.  Good luck!

Yes, I have met her multiple times in 2024 and onetime recently in 2025, and we have plenty of pictures and evidence together.
I believe everything will be ok at least I am going to listen and get fully ready and prepared.

I have one question: should I confirm or ask the embassy via email what they want exactly? or this action is not necessary at this time.

Thank you, all. I do appreciate you.

You can ask but unlikely you would get that sort of response.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Do you think it could be a mistake?
Last week, they sent me an email with our interview to be in the next few months.

Then today they sent us the form of 221g in white color. We have never had an interview yet.
They sent us our pictures back and asked us to bring them to the interview.

Our case still says "Ready".

The fact that you sent all of this info to the embassy without them asking for it kind of explains the response they gave you, in my mind anyway. They basically told you, "Bring the proof of your relationship to your interview". I don't see anything in there that is worrisome now. They were just giving you back your documents and basically telling you to wait until your interview day and the Consular Officer will request what they want to have, to satisfy them. :) Update this thread after the interview and let us know!

The participant here perhaps didn't read the entire thread before posting.  Heed what jan22 says.

The question is:  Were all of the above part of the I-129F petition that Cairo got from USCIS, or did you somehow send these materials separately, yourself, directly to Cairo in advance of your interview?

I did read it.  It wasn't clearly explained that the evidence returned to the OP was not part of the original petition to USCIS, but was unsolicited evidence sent directly to the consulate.

That information is important in this situation.

You can try, but I doubt you would get a response.  I would definitely include everything that was returned to you, as well as any new evidence of time spent together in person.

From what you have told us, I don't see any glaring problems with your case; you have plenty of in-person time, you just need to show it to them at the interview.

I agree with Dashinka, Edward, Salish, et al. -- the fact that you sent the stuff ahead, unsolicited, explains the situation to my satisfaction (and I still have traumatic flashbacks about my own experiences).  As they say, bring it all plus more to the interview, and that will satisfy the protocol.

Ask them about this when you're there, and report back.  If my current assumption is correct, then what a relief!

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
