Depends on consulate, if the consulate is in a country with high visa fraud, the the denial rate will be higher.

I know that Manila and Guangzhou look very hard at the visa cases that pass through them.

Dan's right but I would add that even if you could get a statistic it wouldn't mean much except to get your attention. My impression is that for other than Western Industrial Nations, more than half of K, CR and IR interviews end in an initial denial and that the vast majority of the initial denials are overcome.

The denials come because the applicant isn't prepared with all the needed documents and the the denials are overcome when the needed documents are provided or corrected.

I'm really not all that certain the above isn't pretty much the same everywhere.

The success percentages for VJ members who get guidance throughout the process are much better because they make fewer material omission and mistakes.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Also consider that there are other reasons for denials as well such as a criminal background, previous overstays or drug abuses.

Every case should be handled by its own merits.

Before I reached the embassy phase, I was terrified of the Delhi Embassy, from the reviews I had read and the gossip that I have heard. Now that my fiancee has visited it thrice, I have found it to be a pleasant place; and my dealings with them have been more then satisfactory.

I feel your pain. I still do not understand why our applications were sent to CSC. I live on the east coast and our applications should have stayed at VSC. This is unbelieveable!!!!!!

CSC was supposed to help VSC and the others out on the K3... since VSC is moving so fast, why can't it help out it's "big brother" now?? CSC has a big ego thinking it can handle all the cases by itself.. :crying: I already lost a month to their stupid system sending out the NOA1 late.. I applied 4/13, but they "received" it via UPS Green Card on 4/16.. but entered into the system on 4/27 (USCIS website.. we received on this date, blah blah)... then I received the NOA1 for the I-130 on 5/29 , without any NOTICE DATE or RECEIVED DATE... empty fields... are they just stupid or just slow or both?? even my grandmother could move faster than this...

they are so slow it takes them an hour and a half to watch "Sixty Minutes. haha... that feels a bit better... but not really :(

Gogo I have also lost a month with my I-129F for filing. Then the :crying: transfer and it really is disgusting, depressing and by the looks at our March filers are not getting approvals from CSC our hope fades a little more each day. What is going on at CSC? Why can't CSC send out applications back to VSC? We all need to take a stand. I have never in my life have been upset about something as I am with this! The work visa's are approved quickly and the K-1's are pretty fast. But, our applications are not moving! Someone needs to do something!
