No action since filing December 2023 for both parents

Hi everyone. Just checking in. I filled for both parents in December 2023. I have not gotten any update since January 6th, case is actively being reviewed. 

Have anyone heard anything since filling the I-130 for your parent/s? Thank you

Average time for I-130 is 17 months nowadays. So you're few months away from hearing something.

I think you will be approved soon. My wife filed my I130 in Nov 2023 and I was approved early March.

 

I also see several persons from December 2023 already approved...are you a US Citizen because that makes a difference on the wait time.

Just got an update that action was taking on one of the case but when I logged in, I see no update

This is probably a glitch. Many people report the same.

Guy! Both parents I-130 got approved! I guess that was the action that was taken. I am here at work, and it came to mind to log in and check the documents on USCIS! There it was the approval notice!

It took them 15 months to be approved.
