Hello everyone!

You can see my timeline in my profile. I did my biometrics on march 31st but I am now so worried, after the biometrics my USCIS progress tab for the I765 went from 2 months to 12 months! (and 26 months for the I485) No action required. What does this mean?? Is it really going to take that long? I thought that after the biometrics it would be a matter of a month at most and that's whay visajourney tells me... I don't know but I feel desperate. Any help?

Hugs!

theres no telling how long it will take exactly

with everything the current administration has been up to... its hard to tell

my husband had his biometrics on march 18th and we havent heard anything back for his work authorization yet either.

"no action required" means exactly that. youre just in a period of waiting now. unless it updates to an RFE or something like that.

the myprogresstab isn't reliable. don't get too worked up over the timeline on it.

many members here will agree

Please stop worrying!

MyProgress tab estimates don't mean anything! It's a random number that keeps jumping up and down.

My estimate for N-400 was 7 months, process took 3.5 months. On day of oath, MyProgress showed 3 weeks until decision.

@Edward and Jaycel also had 7 months estimate for their EAD on day the received the card!

Be prepared for AOS to take 12 months. And for EAD about 6 months. If it comes sooner - great.

It’s not accurate so don’t worry about the time. My husband’s was “your case is taking longer than expected” when he went in to take his oath. so it’s just a random number, it doesn’t reflect your actual case progress.

I guess I’ll just overload them with more tax and income statements.

Read what the RFE says and give them what they ask for.... don't just "overload them with documents"

Well obviously, but what they’re asking for is what was already provided and I’ve confirmed the form was completed appropriately. I’d be shocked if they actually reviewed evidence in the four days it took them between filing and sending an RFE
