hey guys maybe u are tired to read my topics, but i got my greencard 2 weeks ago, and i bought a ticket already fto go to visit my family for a month in my country next month. so i have two guestions

1.am i ok with coming back to the USA at the airport only having my greencard and my passport, they both are on my maiden name, i never changed my name

3.my greencard is conditional, just for 2 years, does it have any restrictions, or its just like the 10 years green card

2. and when i recived my greencard, they sent it to my old address, but i have updated it 3 months ago, (even i had mail from them on the new adress after updating)

will that be any problem, cause they have me on their system on the old adress i guess, but my ticket, my driving license everything is updated with my new adress....

thanks for your help, i know i m getting paranoic, but i m so scare just leave the country like that, it was so hard to come here, u all understand that

thanks

Is this a conditional card or related to lifting conditions? You posted to both forums.

1.am i ok with coming back to the USA at the airport only having my greencard and my passport, they both are on my maiden name, i never changed my name

Answer: you should be just fine. As long as the names match (ticket, passport and green card), you should need nothing else.

2.my greencard is conditional, just for 2 years, does it have any restrictions, or its just like the 10 years green card

Answer: Your 2 year conditional residency is just that - conditional. As long as you don't kill anyone, rob banks, etc, you have all the rights of any other legal immigrant to America. Of course, you cannot vote or apply for citizenship yet. But you have all the documentation that you need to return to the US

3. and when i recived my greencard, they sent it to my old address, but i have updated it 3 months ago, (even i had mail from them on the new adress after updating). will that be any problem, cause they have me on their system on the old adress i guess, but my ticket, my driving license everything is updated with my new adress....

Answer: No problem on your address
