PLEASE HELP! I-130 Approval Letter with Mistake on Petitioner's A-Number (F2B Visa)

Hi everyone,

I’m in the process of sending my I-130 petition package tomorrow, but I’ve just noticed an error on my I-130 approval letter. The petitioner’s A-number is incorrect—it says 296 instead of 286, which matches the A-number on the petitioner’s green card.

The petitioner is a green card holder, and I’m applying under the F2B visa category. I’m really worried this could cause issues with my application, but I’m unsure what steps to take. Any other advice or suggestions on how to handle this?

Sounds like you’ll need to get the number corrected first. But I’m a bit confused as you say you’re sending the I-130 petition but then say the I-130 is incorrect? Can you clarify what you’re sending or what stage you’re at? Is it the DS-260 you’re submitting?
