hi, anyone has similar situation with us? we sent our K1 packet on Feb 20, 2025 and it was delivered at USCIS DALLAS on Feb 25. My petitioner's credit card was charged on Feb 28… but until now we have not received any text, email or mail from USCIS. but i have read that others been receiving their NOA1 within a week of filing. is there anything we can do? or do we have to just keep waiting? im a bit worried. without the receipt number we cant check the status of our application at all.

happened to me. NOA1 must have been lost in the mail. I did not file form G-1145 which is the only way to be notified electronically.

See below thread. I emailed the lockbox support and just this week after a month and a week received an emial saying they will mail another NOA1, and also gave me my case number. I have not updated this in the thread. I am waiting to receive the new NOA1 in the mail.

Since after 30 days they had not replied, I Called the 800 number again and after a few tries with the automated system, I could talk to an agent and she gave me my case number.

They usually do not re issue the NOA1, that is what the gal on the phone said, so I was surprised when the person who replied from the lockbox said they would.

Good luck!

Thanks for sharing your experience. it is fine as long as you got the case number coz you could check your case status online using that number. ofc it would be better if you get the hard copy as well. im sorry that you didnt, its really frustrating, i know. as for an update, we already received our Noa1 hard copy in mail just today so i also checked it online using the receipt number
