Hello, everyone.

My wife arrived in the US on 12/15. On 2/1 we got married and on 2/17 I submitted her AOS to the Chicago lockbox. USPS tracking shows it as delivered as of February 21st, but the payment has not been taken, nor have we received an NOA about the AOS filing. I confirmed that the address is correct based on where we live and our filing type.

What do you think I should do at this point? I found some Reddit posts from earlier this year with people saying that it could take up to three months to cash the check. The USCIS website says to email the lockbox if payment is not taken within thirty days of delivery. Should I email the lockbox on 3/22 or give it more time?

Thank you.

What do your peer filers say in the March K1 AOS filers forum?

Have they started to receive Noa1s in the mail yet?

What's their timeline like?

That would tell you the most as it would be the current rate to expect.

The OP is in Ohio so that means they sent theirs to Chicago.

As each Lockbox is different, Noa1 tImelines may be different there. It would be of benefit for them to join the K1 AOS forum and find fellow Chicago LB filers and see their CURRENT timelines.

I'm aware, I mentioned my lockbox because it's different. The people that I have talked to HAVE filed at Chicago, sadly no one on this forum filed at Dallas recently, from what I've seen.

Like I said, this is the first case that is like mine.
