I submitted an inquiry to NVC because they haven’t added the substitute sponsor in CEAC yet. They responded that my petition is undergoing ‘necessary additional processing’ and that I will be notified when it’s complete. Has anyone experienced this before and knows how long this process usually takes?

The use of a substitute sponsor has been approved?

Yes, USCIS approved everything and sent the case to NVC to continue, and NVC accepted the documents sent from USCIS. After that, NVC sent a welcome letter to complete it.

Is your timeline accurate? F3 category with 2011 Priority Date? If so, your PD isn’t current. That’s probably why the substitute sponsor hasn’t been added yet.

My priority date is July 2011, and Table B is current since August 2024. I just need to upload my substitute documents, which is what NVC is asking me for. Since I don't have the option in the CEAC to add the substitute, I must ask the NVC via inquiry to add it. I just want to know if anyone knows the type the NVC takes in similar cases.

This is what the NVC responded to me

Not Table A though, so there won't be any rush to get it all sorted. But AP will just take however long it takes, unfortunately nothing to do but wait.

Best of luck.
