Hi,

 

My mother is Green Card holder for last 20 years. She had re-entry permit couple of times before. Last one was in 2014.

We plan to apply for third time. Can you please share your recent timelines for Application receipt+Biometrics+approval.

Can she go out of country just after filing the application? What is the chance bio-metrics been asked to be completed for these days. Thanks.

Nobody can predict. Most likely, she will be called in for biometrics, since it's been a while she submitted them.

I'd also add that she can only leave after you get confirmation that USCIS has processed it, not just received from USPS/UPS/FedEx. To your point though, she'd have to come back for biometrics though.
