DS-160 application questions

Hello VJ family , 

I might be thinking little too much about DS-160 form questions but can someone kindly help to clarify. 
on travel information section they ask Application Receipt/petition number . Should I provide the uscis receipt number or is it the NVC case number ?

Our case went to transit today . Should we submit completed DS-160 online application form now or should we wait until it shows ready? Also we don’t show anywhere on the form to schedule an interview at embassy is that next step after we pay the fee ? Thank you

The DS-160 is valid for 1 year after you submit it, regardless I would wait until the case says "Ready". You do not schedule the interview with the DS-160 form. For the specific processes in Pakistan I would start here:

Also keep in mind that even though the K-1 visa is a nonimmigrant visa, for the purposes of the interview, the embassies treat it just like an immigrant visa. (With the exception of scheduling the interview. You will schedule it yourself where an immigrant visa gets scheduled by the NVC). So follow all the checklists and preparation steps listed on that page I linked above.

awesome information but the first step says to register a pick up location for passport pick up . Once I click on that it tells me that your country isn’t active anymore . Is that because I’m the petitioner live in US  ?

That’s correct but once I try to register after filling out this form and hit the submit button then it tell me that your country isn’t active anymore
