I already paid my K1 visa since Feb 15 and the status of my application in CEAC is "Ready", i'm very very confused currently due to lots of information on what to do next.  Our case approval will expire on march 21 and yet i still cant get an appointment thru the VAC website.  Some said try and try to access it until you get an available slot but i just got locked out due to many times attempt to access the page. I even tried to contact their customer service but I was just always routed to the automated system only. Some said I will be receiving a letter from the US embassy on what to do next once the NVC forwarded the case to them.  Its really really confusing on my end.  I really need help on this one coz I am so stressed already.

dont stress too much

what embassy are you going through?

even if your case expires, the consular officer conducting the interview can extend the validity of the petition at the time of the interview.

as for getting locked out, give it a day or 2 and check again. sometimes it takes a few days to fix. i've heard people checking for appointments at unlikely times, like the middle of the night.

if anything, you should contact your embassy if you haven't received anything from them.

have you tried their inquiry form? not called?

https://ph.usembassy.gov/contact-us-visas/

they have an inquiry form for non-immigrant visas as well, but i believe you need to use the immigrant visa form since that is the section of the embassy that processes and interviews K1s

You do not need to wait for the Embassy to send you an email to schedule a K-1 in Manila. As long as your case status shows "Ready" you can schedule your appointments. However, there has been some kind of meltdown there in Manila and no appointments have been showing up on the website for several weeks. There is a thread here on VJ already going for this:

Manila did this last summer and then in the fall they dumped like 1000 appointment slots on the website so it looks like maybe they're having the same thing going on

 Nothing specific. Very random.

But I heard there were slots this morning around 10:30am Manila time.
